šš½ EDITORāS NOTE
TGIF! New editor, who this? While Edisana, our newsletter editor, is on leave, Iāll be temporarily taking over the curation of Z-Rated, with this volume being my first in a while. Iām low-key nervous cos I never know what to say in these notes, but Iām really excited that I get to say hello to you every Friday while bringing to you a new volume of Z-Rated.
For new readers, Z-Rated is a weekly curation of Afro Gen Z trends, stories, and brands picked out by the team at Kenga. In each volume, we also share the Kenga Weekenda, a compilation of some of the events and entertainment content our team is indulging in each given weekend.
If you have any suggestions around how we can make Z-Rated better or would like pitch stories/brands to be featured, just leave a comment or hit reply. You can also join our Discord if youād like to a have a more informal kiki with the Kengang š
